I'm not sure the early black ones had mounting holes for footstraps. If you email your pix to mike at wingsurfer.co.uk I'll see what you've got.

It's a black one, it dŒs have some holes on the back bit but i thought they must be to stick the brake cable through. Got some photos but having a job uploading them, not very computer literate I'm afraid.

Speaking of brake cable, at the moment I've got mine running through that hole and back up and around to the brake lever, is that wrong? It "works," as far as it was the only way i could figure out to apply pressure to the brakes, but it seems to put the cable at a really sharp angle over the metal, and i'm worried it'll wear through pretty quick.

Is it a black one or silver(aluminium)?
